ROOFLIGHTS
LET THE SKY IN
Rooflights are often used for gaining light and space to a flat roof extension. They are a perfect addition to bifold doors creating a large mass of glass across the back of your home.
Our rooflights are a modern and contemporary alternative to the
clunky plastic conservatory T bar roof systems with plastic hood
bosses that tend to look out of scale on orangery roofs.
A modern orangery can be designed with sliding doors or bifolding
doors on your preferred elevation bringing the garden into your home.
We can help you design and select the correct material to create a spacious and contemporary theme to enhance any modern day home.
UNLIMITED POTENTIAL
Many glazing options are available to suit any application. The most popular is Pilkington Activ Blue self cleaning glass, it has a wonderful blue tint to brighten up any day as well as a self cleaning coating which is perfect for a hard to reach lantern roof. Our glass has amazing thermal properties that will keep the heat in during winter months and reflect the sunlight in hot weather.
The strong, thermally broken and slimline aluminium roof sections allow for the optimum amount of glazing. Deep aluminium roof beams are almost twice the strength of the standard T Bar systems. The most attractive part of our roof system is the way our beams meet, they are neatly mitred with no obtrusive caps that block out the light.
GLAZING
Our preferred supplier is Pilkington Glass as they are an established
company and household name.
Our standard specification for glass is 28mm Clear toughened double
glazed units (with a centre pane U value of 1.2 W/m).
However, we do offer a 50mm triple-glazed unit option (with a centre pane
U value of 0.7 w/m2)
Toughened safety glass as standard to BS EN12150 we can also offer the inner pane of glass laminated for greater security or for use above swimming pools and child friendly areas.
The glass is coated with a durable easy clean coating to protect it from discolouration and promote self cleaning ability during rain fall, thus helping to reduce the manual cleaning process. Manual cleaning will still be required, especially if trees or traffic is close by but you can be assured that the glass will clean more easily than normal glass.
TRIPLE GLAZING
Our Fixed flat and opening rooflights feature triple glazing as standard, this is an optional extra for our Pyramid and Slimline rooflights. Giving you the very best heat insulating properties achievable for glass units, the U-value is 0.6 W/m2k for the flat triple glazed units and 0.7 W/m2k for the Slimline and Pyramid glazed units. Triple glazed units are 100% argon filled and feature Super Spacer continual warm edge spacer bar for improved sound insulation against heavy rain, traffic and noise.

Glass upgrades such as Activ Self Cleaning and also Activ Blue or Neutral (Grey).

ROOF VENTS
Roof vents are purpose made to your exact requirements and can accomodate glass thicknesses from 6mm to 50mm (28mm is our standard).
Powder Coated to any standard RAL colour of your choice.
Manual, 230 Volt or 24 Volt electrical operation options avaliable.
